When I install it from the repository instead I just get "No available API keys" errors and minitube browse or search doesn't show any videos or search results. On Linux Mint 18.1 Cinnamon I also added mint-meta-codecs. I installed phonon4qt5-backend-gstreamer and minitube on both Linux Mint 18.1 Cinnamon and Ubuntu 16.04 (which has Unity instead of Cinnamon, but on which Linux Mint 18.1 is based).
